About Me.

Hi, I’m Gabriella, and I'm a writer, multimedia creator, Civil Engineering CAD Designer, and Marketing Communications professional with a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin and two Associate's Degrees in Engineering and Liberal Arts. My career path has combined creativity with technical expertise, allowing me to tell stories, build projects, and create work that makes a real impact.
My passion for helping others started early, in an unexpected place. Growing up, I thought I’d go into healthcare after watching my younger brother fight and survive childhood cancer. That experience shaped how I see the world and sparked my desire to help others. However, it also showed me how deeply support matters.
I soon realized there are many ways to offer that support, even in ways you might not expect. Whether through writing, connecting with someone face-to-face, or building something technical that solves a real-world problem, I believe in using my skills to help people however I can.
I write and create stories and content that are informative, entertaining, and inspiring. I know that even one story can reach someone at the right moment. That’s what drives me to approach every project with care and purpose.
My work encompasses journalistic reporting, proposal writing, marketing material creation, SEO content/copy, SOQs, RFQs, proposals for projects, website design, blogging, press releases, social media management, podcast production, photography, video storytelling, and CAD design. I care deeply about getting the facts right, representing people with honesty and empathy, and telling stories that leave a lasting impression.
Before completing my journalism degree, I spent nearly a decade working in civil engineering as a CAD Designer, designing roadways, sidewalks, and utility systems across Texas. That technical background gave me a strong foundation in problem-solving, attention to detail, and project collaboration, which are all skills I bring to all my work.
I’m especially interested in the AEC industry, small businesses, health, nutrition, personal finance, community resources, arts, food, entertainment, and everyday resilience. Outside of work, you can usually find me exploring local coffee shops and food spots that I'll often review for fun on my social media.
Whether writing an article, editing podcasts or videos, writing content to help a business grow, or working behind the scenes on a technical project, I’m motivated by the impact my work might have on someone unexpected.
Let’s connect! I’m always excited to collaborate, share ideas, and keep learning.
